Minnesota Summer Camps

At YMCA Camp Icaghowan the activities help kids and teens to build integrity, self-reliance and leadership skills. Fun-filled days filled with amazing camp experiences focused on traditional camp favorites like climbing, archery, fishing, swimming, canoeing, campfires and much more. Campers can also choose from our unique specialty camps such as River Canoe Trips, Teen Extreme, Horse Camp, Skateboarding, or Leadership Training Programs.

Outward Bound is an educational organization and expedition school that serves people of all ages and backgrounds through challenging expeditions that inspire self-discovery. Course activities include rock climbing, mountaineering, canyoneering, skiing, sea kayaking, backpacking, sailing, dog sledding, canoeing and whitewater rafting in some of the most beautiful and inspiring wilderness areas to be found.

Camp Foley, located in north-central Minnesota, is committed to being a positive, fun, youth-centered place that has a warm, caring, family atmosphere. With quality instruction in over 30 activities kids develop skills, grow in character, build supportive relationships and learn independence. Established in 1924, Camp Foley is accredited by the American Camp Association.

The focus of Swift Nature Camp is to blend traditional summer camp activities with activities that develop a camper's appreciation for nature, science and the environment. Children are able to act on their own, be self-reliant and try things for themselves. Activity choices include arts and crafts, canoeing, fishing, swimming, archery, and many more activities. In addition campers get to play and learn in our Nature Center and Zoo.

YMCA Camp St. Croix has been providing exceptional outdoor program experiences since 1909. A day at camp is filled with fun activities that challenge you to reach new levels. Just 20 minutes east of the Twin Cities, St. Croix provides a convenient location for kids to enjoy quality programs in a beautiful, natural setting.

Founded in 1927, Camp Warren is a single-gender Y camp located just three hours north of the Twin Cities on the crystal clear Half Moon Lake. Our activities, like canoeing, archery and horseback riding, help boys and girls (ages 7 to 16) of all backgrounds and abilities to build integrity, self-reliance, and leadership. By living with other campers, they learn to work together and exhibit the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.

At Camp Invention, we invite children to explore, understand, and solve real world problems. Students team up to experiment, play, create, construct and deconstruct, while every activity prepares them for a successful and captivating curiosity-fueled future!

The adidas Summer Tennis Camps provide athletes an opportunity to become better tennis players in a fun, constructive atmosphere. Tennis players of all skill levels will benefit from a week at an adidas Tennis Camp. Our campers leave tennis camp with confidence and a passion to enjoy the "sport of a lifetime."

Camp Widjiwagan offers programs for teens, ages 11–18. Canoeing and backpacking trips are available for a variety of skill levels. Wilderness trips progress in difficulty, giving campers an opportunity to build on their wilderness and leadership skills with new challenges year after year. Our Outdoor Leadership Development program is a weeklong session in northern Minnesota that teaches leadership skills to teenagers.

Our summer softball camps are designed for athletes to learn, develop, and enhance their skills in all phases of softball. We provide the opportunity to become better softball players by hiring some of the best coaches and players in the sport today.

iD Tech hosts day & overnight computer camp programs for ages 6-18. Programs are held at 100+ top campuses nationwide like Stanford, Princeton, MIT, Yale, UCLA, Harvard & more! Learn code, discover game design, or develop a website.

Camp Voyageur is a traditional summer camp specializing in 3 to16 day wilderness canoeing trips in the Boundary Waters and Canada's Quetico Provincial Park. Other trips include sea kayaking in the Apostle Island National Lake Shore and hiking along the North Shore of Lake Superior and Isle Royale National Park. The base camp program includes: volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, archery, waterskiing, soccer, basketball, rock climbing, sailing, arts/crafts, and much more.

Along the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northeastern Minnesota, Camp Menogyn is uniquely located to explore the finest wilderness areas in North America. We focus on canoeing, backpacking and rock climbing trips for teens. Through these wilderness trips teens build leadership skills, gain confidence and explore amazing places.

Deep in the tranquil beauty of the north woods, Camp du Nord is a getaway destination for families, groups and individuals. Du Nord offers a natural setting that promotes relaxation, exploration and community. Camp is located on Burntside Lake near the Boundary Waters Canoe Area and offers miles of hiking and skiing trails, as well as family and group programs all through the year.

Capitol Debate hosts academic and debate camps dedicated to enriching and expanding the social, intellectual, and academic lives of our students. Our collection of classes provide students with the elements of forensic speech and debate, and instruction in public speaking, writing, broadcast journalism, and youth leadership. Every subject is taught by experienced instructors and every subject is learned through practice and implementation.

At Camp Pillsbury campers have continuous opportunities to sharpen their skills in fun and outstanding summer camp programs. In addition to performing arts, Camp Pillsbury provides many camp activities including: horseback riding, magic, tennis, music, circus, cooking, dance, extreme sports, outdoor adventure, rock and roll, tech/ digital arts/ multimedia, theatre, visual arts, water sports and much more.

GameBreaker Lacrosse Camps give athletes the opportunity to develop lacrosse skills, learning from top-notch players and coaches. Sessions include lacrosse camps for boys, lacrosse camps for girls, goalie and shooter clinics at locations across the United States.
